Renita Thonvold has greatly enjoyed her diversified roles in serving people of all ages.  During her 35 years of human services with the Minnesota Department of Human of Services, she has experienced working with persons with developmental delays, psychiatric conditions, and the challenges of aging as a Registered Nurse, certified in Psychiatry.

While working with Touching Hearts at Home, she serves aging persons in community settings across the state of Minnesota as a Registered Nurse Consultant.  She had the privilege of developing a branch of service called Linking Elderly Supports which promotes services for struggling elderly persons for the state of Minnesota.  Her team has consulted in nursing homes, assisted living centers, and in private homes.  These services have included individual assessments and recommendations as well as providing trainings to various associations, nursing students, conventions, care givers, administrators, and family members.
